I’ve always loved the shapes of clouds and tracked their journeys above the landscape. Watching the sky and horizon merge In the midst of heavy rain showers holds a particular fascination. I used the texture of the paint and linen, metallics and numerous glazes to try to emulate the atmosphere and drama of approaching rain clouds.
